Weight Management and Support Group– A place where you will be offered meaningful and ongoing support. Bring your questions and find support from your peers as well as our Chronic Disease Nurse.

Slips and Trips-Fall prevention discussion– A place where you can review your meds with a nurse and discuss ideas on hazard-proofing your home. September 23rd 22-3pm
Seniors’ easy exercises and stretches for better health and strength– Come and see what chair exercise and easy stretches can do for your mind and body to keep you healthy. You will leave with your own set of exercise bands and a package of activities suited for you!
Runs October 6th and 27th 2-3pm, come for one or both sessions.
Chronic Disease Question and Answer session– Ask about Diabetes, Hypertension, COPD, Quit smoking and more with our Chronic Disease Nurse. October 21st 2-3pm
Diabetes Conversations–Come and join us for a cup of tea or coffee and a healthy snack. Have an evening of socializing and learning about Diabetes. It is a chance to talk about the highs and lows of living or caring for someone with Diabetes. October 26th 6-730pm
DASH DIET-Dietary approach to stopping Hypertension– If you would like to try to lower your blood pressure with diet control, this information session is for you. November 9th 630-730pm
COPD– This is a place you can discuss the challenges and successes of living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. December 7th 2-3pm
Craving Change– This is a ‘how to’ workshop about the challenges of changing your relationship with food and how to do that!!!
